About the Uniceramica Range
Uniceramica is Brachot’s full-body porcelain collection, meaning the colour and pattern run all the way through the slab rather than sitting as a printed layer on top. That makes any cut edge, chamfer or drainer groove show the same consistent design as the surface, which matters for a material that’s fabricated on site.

Heat and UV Resistance
Porcelain and ceramic surfaces are among the most heat-resistant worktop materials available, tolerating close contact with hot pans better than many other surfaces, although a trivet is still good practice for very high temperatures. Their UV stability also makes them a strong option for spaces that get direct sunlight, where some other materials can fade or discolour over time.
Fabrication Considerations
Porcelain and ceramic slabs are extremely hard, which makes them very durable in daily use but also means they require specialist cutting and edge-fabrication techniques. Because the material is dense and can be sensitive to sharp, concentrated impacts on unsupported edges or corners, careful handling during templating and installation is important, which is why we recommend having this work carried out by an experienced fabricator.

The Uniceramica range is available in four finishes: Naturale (a smooth, natural-look surface), Strutturata (a soft, textured surface), Bocciardata (a bush-hammered, textured surface) and Ondulato (a gently waved, tactile surface). Combined with 41 marble, limestone, travertine and basalt-inspired designs, this makes it a versatile choice for both contemporary and more traditional kitchens.

Templating, Fabrication and Installation
Once you have chosen your porcelain or ceramic worktop, we carry out a precise on-site template of your kitchen to make sure every cut-out, joint and edge is accounted for. Your worktop is then fabricated off-site before our team installs it, connects any sinks or hobs, and finishes the joints and edges to a clean, professional standard.

What makes porcelain worktops different from granite, marble or quartz?
Porcelain worktops like Uniceramica are made by firing clay and mineral compounds at very high temperatures, producing an extremely dense, non-porous slab. Unlike granite or marble, porcelain doesn’t need sealing, and unlike some quartz worktops it’s fully heat resistant right up to the surface, so it holds up well around hobs and ovens.
Can I put hot pans straight onto a Uniceramica worktop?
Yes. Porcelain is one of the most heat-resistant worktop materials available, so hot pans and dishes can normally go straight from the hob or oven onto the surface without leaving a mark, though we’d still recommend a trivet for anything extremely hot.
Does Uniceramica porcelain need sealing or special maintenance?
No. Because it’s non-porous, Uniceramica worktops don’t need sealing the way granite or marble do. A wipe with warm water and mild detergent is usually all that’s needed to keep the surface looking its best.
Can Uniceramica worktops be used outdoors?
Selected finishes are suitable for outdoor kitchens and areas exposed to direct sunlight, as porcelain is UV stable and won’t fade over time. We’ll confirm which specific colour and finish combinations are suitable for outdoor use during your consultation.

Porcelain is extremely tough, but as with any worktop material we’d recommend using a chopping board for food prep and avoiding heavy, concentrated impacts on unsupported edges and corners to keep the surface looking its best long term.
